Who Cares About School Districts?

Does your business use school district boundaries for marketing, planning, or representation? If so, are you willing to share how you use them? And where do you get them? If you aren’t using them, is there a reason?

School districts seem to play a big role in home purchasing decisions, but the real estate industry still seems pretty focused on ZIP Codes (or, more recently, on neighborhoods). But school districts are what matter most to parents.

And the cost of education (both public and private) continues to rise faster than inflation. Not that education spending guarantees good academics of course. But school taxes hit every homeowner.

Are there any marketing programs that are based on school districts rather than more traditional geographies? Here’s a chance to highlight what you are doing!
