EnvironMAILism – More Than A New Green Word

What is Environmailism? It’s is a new direct mail-based campaign launched by the USPS to encourage businesses to make more environmentally aware mailing choices. Through a Green Mail Kit sent out to direct mailers, and a follow on Environmailism Handbook for business that respond, the program is providing eco-friendly ideas for direct mailers.

According to the USPS’s Postal Bulletin, the campaign had more than 18,000 responders by the end of its third week. Currently, access to this mailing is limited to companies on a targeted list, but you can find some of the information in this kit on the USPS’s Direct and Green Web pages.
